Actor Deepika Padukone was previously rumoured to landed a part in the Emmy Award-winning television series The White Lotus Season 4. However, the latest report has revealed that the actress is no longer a part of the show.

According to Variety India, Deepika was contacted, but things didn't work out since she refused to audition for the part.

A source told the outlet, “Auditions are a mandatory part of the casting process for The White Lotus. The makers were very keen on auditioning actors before signing them on. Deepika was not keen on auditioning, and that was the reason why the White Lotus opportunity had to be passed.”
