    IMF
    -Cuts India's FY14 GDP growth forecast to 3.8 percent from 5.6 percent in July
    -Cuts India's FY15 GDP growth forecast to 5.1 percent from 6.3 percent in July

    -Japan's LIXIL Corporation has acquired 70 percent stake in Star Alubuild from Romi Malhotra, the founder of the company and DLF subsidiaries
    -DLF’s two subsidiaries namely, DLF Home Developers and DLF Projects have divested 60 percent stake in Star Alubuild for an enterprise value of Rs 79.8 crore
    -Transaction is a part of DLF's objective of divesting its non-core assets


    SBI
    -Revises interest rates on bulk deposits
    -Revises interest rates on 7-60 days bulk deposits to 8.5 percent applicable tomorrow


    PNB
    -Launches special offer for select loans up to January 31
    -To give car loans at fixed rate of 10.65 percent till January 31
    -To give 2-wheeler loans at fixed rate of 12.25 percent till January 31
    -To give personal, consumer durable loan at fixed rate of 12.75 percent till January 31


    PNB says
    -Waived processing fee on housing, car, 2-wheeler, consumer durable loans
    -Cut rate on select loans only in case of fixed rate of interest


    On CNBC-TV18 - PNB Chairman:
    -Car loans have seen reduction of 1.10 percent
    -Personal loans for consumer durables cut by 1-2 percent
    -Interest rate for 2-wheeler loans cut by up to 2.5 percent
    -No corporate credit pick up, need to pick up retail credit
    -'Today's market offers retail credit as safest bet'
    -'Not been nudged by FM to cut lending rates'


    Oriental Bank of Commerce
    -To cut personal, consumer durable loan rates by 25 bps
    -Interest rate cut to be applicable effectively tomorrow onwards
    -To also cut 4-wheeler loan interest rate by 25 bps


    RBI:
    -No further share purchase by FIIs in Kajaria Ceramics
    -FII investment in Kajaria Ceramics crosses 24 percent limit
    -FII investment in GE Shipping reaches 24 percent limit
    -No further share purchase by FIIs in GE Shipping
