Veena finished applying the mehendi around 4 pm. Twinkle removed it an hour later, with the wedding scheduled for 7 pm. Sharing what happened next, Veena said, “By 5–6 pm, she removed the mehndi. But by the next day, the mehndi was dark, and she called me and said, ‘Veena ji, it’s so dark now.’”

Twinkle Khanna, who was active in films in the late 1990s, met Akshay Kumar during a Filmfare cover shoot. The two later worked together in International Khiladi, where their bond grew stronger. Twinkle once believed their relationship would last only a couple of weeks, but Akshay proposed marriage.
