Ola Electric's founder Bhavish Aggarwal on September 27 said that the firm is launching around 1000'on-demand and AI powered' service centres across India and added that there would be a quick service guarantee of one-day resolution of service issues.
"Quick Service Guarantee, 1-day resolution of service issues! In case of a delay, we will provide a backup S1 scooter. In addition, Ola Care+ customers will also get free Ola Cabs coupons until their service is resolved in a phased manner," said Aggarwal on X (formerly Twitter).
The announcement comes weeks after a 26-year-old man was arrested for allegedly setting bikes on fire at an Ola Electric showroom here after failing to get issues relating to his two-wheeler resolved despite multiple visits to the outlet.
The company also announced its EV Service Training Program with the aim of training 1 lakh third-party mechanics under the ‘Network Partner Program’.
Ola Electric will also deploy AI-powered proactive maintenance and remote diagnostics.
"These AI features will detect issues even before they arise, thereby addressing them proactively at customers' doorstep. Ola Electric will roll out these AI features to all Ola customers starting 10th October, 2024," Aggarwal said.
