Minda Corporation Limited,  the flagship company of Spark Minda, has sealed a deal with a prominent Japanese 2W firm to manufacture smart key systems.

This original equipment manufacturer will leverage Minda's prowess in delivering cutting-edge solutions, with the manufacturing set to take place at Spark Minda's advanced facility in Pune, the company said without identifying the Japanese firm.

"This important partnership and significant order win underlines our commitment towards 'Make in India' and become a global leader in the space of vehicle access solutions. We will continue to push the
boundaries further to grow our product and technology offerings," executive director Aakash Minda.

The collaboration, marked as phase 1, requires Minda to manufacture smart vehicle access systems. As consumer demands for product premiumisation continues to rise, this partnership is poised to solidify the company's position as a frontrunner in the realm of vehicle access, ensuring its readiness for the future, it said.
