Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com is of the view that one can sell Adani Power and buy JM Financial and Motilal Oswal.

Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "Adani Power is a sell with a stop loss of Rs 34, target of Rs 26. JM Financial is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 118, target of Rs 126. Motilal Oswal is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 860, target of Rs 895."

"Only if you are a very long-term investor and that is where this principle of the whole sector needs to do well. Few stocks can outperform for a bit, but finally, they end up behaving similarly to the sector. So, Biocon is heading towards its 200-day moving average and maybe around Rs 950-960, people can look to buy with a long-term view."

"The trend remains higher end. Within a trend, if something corrects 10-15 percent, you should buy. But would I buy them over a housing finance company or real estate? I do not think so. Metals, etc. they perform well when global markets are doing well. So, you need to wait for that kind of a day when these stocks run up 4-5 percent and some sort of resumption of the trend has happened. Otherwise, if you are a long-term investor, as part of a portfolio, you can continue to hold them."
