Actor Imran Khan and his girlfriend Lekha Washington have rented a home in Mumbai for Rs 9 lakh per month. The couple leased the apartment in Bandra from Bollywood director Karan Johar.
Khan recently confirmed his relationship with Lekha Washington. He was married to Avantika Malik before their divorce in 2019. Khan was previously staying in his bungalow at Pali Hill, Bandra.
The Bandra apartment is a sea-facing home located next to a building where his uncle, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, previously rented an apartment. The actor-couple will now stay at the three-storey apartment at Clefepete on tony Carter Road.
The rental deal was registered on March 20, 2024 and has a tenure of three years, according to documents sourced by real estate database platform Zapkey.
Bandra remains a preferred location for celebrities, including actors Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, John Abraham and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
Washington was previously married to journalist Pablo Chaterji, the son of renowned theatre artist Dhritiman Chaterji.
