If you’re planning a bank visit in September 2025, keep in mind that branches will remain shut on multiple days across states due to festivals and regional occasions.
From Karma Puja and Onam to Id-e-Milad, Navratra Sthapna, Durga Puja, and the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, banks will be closed in different parts of the country.

Apart from these regional holidays, banks will also be closed on all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, as per RBI rules. Customers are advised to check the state-wise holiday list before stepping into a branch to avoid inconvenience.
