The exam is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a list of exam centres in foreign cities for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024.

The NEET application form was released on February 9, 2024, with the last date of application being March 9, 2024. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2024.

Concerning the centre selection, candidates who have already selected centres in India and paid the fee without the option for foreign centres but who want to appear in NEET (UG) 2024 in countries outside of India will have the opportunity to correct their centre and country choice during the correction window.

This window will open after the registration window closes.

Further, candidates in foreign countries wishing to change their centres to foreign cities can make corrections during this period. However, they will be required to pay the differential amount.

Candidates who are registering afresh from foreign countries can select their preferred country and city directly from the drop-down menu during the application process. They should pay the requisite fee and submit their application.

For further inquiries, candidates can contact 011-40759000 or email neet@nta.ac.in.

In November 2023, the syllabus for the medical entrance exam was reduced to align it with the curriculum rationalised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other school boards.

"It is notified to all the stakeholders, especially to the aspiring candidates that the Undergraduate Medical Education Board, an autonomous body under the National Medical Commission has finalised the NEET (UG)-2024 syllabus," the NTA said in an official notification.

"The same has been uploaded on NMC's website for the reference of the public at large. The stakeholders are advised to refer to the updated syllabus for NEET (UG)-2024 for the preparation of the study material and preparation of NEET (UG) examinations for academic session 2024-25,” it added.
