We are going to have global trade war: Michael Every

White House Chief Economic Advisor Gary Cohn has resigned from President Trump's Administration over the issue of import tariffs and in news from the Korean Peninsula- North Korea had said it was open to talks with the US on denuclearisation. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Michael Every of Rabobank shared his views and outlook on the same.

Cohn was the only one who could have possibly pushed back against Trump starting a global trade war and Cohn leaving sends a strong message that we are going to have that global trade war, he said.

At the end of the day, everything is political rather than economic, he added.

On trade war front, I have been expecting one for quite some time, he further mentioned.
