Stocks to Watch
The Board has approved the opening of the Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) issue on January 12, with a floor price of Rs 387.74 per share. According to CNBC-TV18, quoting sources, the issue size is likely to be around Rs 4,150 crore.
KP Group has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government for the development of renewable energy projects worth Rs 4,000 crore in Gujarat.
Under the MoU, KP Group proposes to establish renewable energy projects with a total capacity of approximately 855 MW, comprising solar power projects and ISTS-connected wind–solar hybrid power projects.
The company has received a Letter of Acceptance from South Eastern Coalfields for a project worth Rs 4,038 crore at the Porda Chimtapani Open Cast project in Chhattisgarh.
The Board has given in-principle approval for the listing of the company’s subsidiary, NLC India Renewables (NIRL), through the dilution of up to 25% of its equity stake in one or more tranches via a public offer.
Further, the Board has announced an interim dividend of Rs 3.60 per share for FY26. The record date has been fixed as January 16 to determine the members entitled to receive the interim dividend.
Additionally, the Board approved an investment of up to Rs 66.60 crore in one or more tranches in NLC India Renewables, as and when required, to fund green energy projects to be executed through joint venture companies.

Everest Corporation has bought 2.73 lakh shares (equivalent to 1.99% of the paid-up equity) in Apollo Techno at Rs 132.6 per share, amounting to Rs 3.6 crore.
Royal Alpha Opportunity Fund, an alternate investment fund owned by Royal Alpha Growth, has acquired 79,200 equity shares (a 1.26% stake) in KV Toys India at Rs 326.27 per share, amounting to Rs 2.58 crore.
Shanti Educational Initiatives
Mauritius-based investment firm Multitude Growth Funds has picked up 10.58 lakh shares (a 0.65% stake) in Shanti Educational Initiatives at Rs 170 per share, amounting to nearly Rs 18 crore.
Investor Pankaj Prasoon has bought 1.4 lakh shares in the IT solutions company at Rs 330.14 per share, amounting to Rs 4.63 crore. Meanwhile, BNP Paribas Financial Markets sold 1.39 lakh shares at Rs 330.07 per share, amounting to Rs 4.59 crore.
