Stock Market October Holidays 2024: NSE, BSE shut for a day on account of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti

The stock markets in India will be closed on Wednesday, October 2, in observance of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. This adds an extra holiday for the month, aside from the usual weekend market closures.

As per the BSE holiday calendar, there will be no trading on October 2 in the equity, equity derivatives, and SLB segments.
