India’s first power sector InvIT - India Grid Trust - is likely to see an Offer For Sale (OFS) this week, in which sponsor Esoteric II Pte - an affiliate of KKR - is likely to sell 17.32 percent stake.
CNBC-TV18 quoted sources saying the OFS will take place between August 22-23, with the offer opening for non-retail investors on August 22 and for retail investors on August 23. The Offer For Sale has a base offer of 9.66 percent stake with an oversubscription option of 7.66 percent, it is learnt.
At the close of trading hours on Wednesday, the India Grid InvIT settled at Rs 136.80 per share on the BSE, down marginally by 0.20 percent.
India Grid Trust settled flat in Wednesday's trade at Rs 136.80 per share on the BSE. The SEBI-registered company was established in 2016 pursuant to the InvIT regulations to own power transmission and renewable assets.
