F&O watch for April 26: Vodafone Idea enters NSE ban list

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail and Hindustan Copper have been removed from the ban list as their market-wide position limits are now below 80%.

Vodafone Idea enters the ban list as its MWPL breached the 95 percent limit.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has imposed a trading ban on Vodafone Idea (110.36 percent) in the futures and options (F&O) segment on April 26.

The move came after the stock exceeded 95 percent of the market-wide position limit (MWPL). The ban will be reversed only if the open interest falls below 80 percent.

Technicals

The stock of Vodafone Idea has gained 1.13 percent over the last month. The stock has been trading below its 20 and 50 DMAs (daily moving averages) but above the 200 DMA.

Exits
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (63.52 percent) and Hindustan Copper (36.74 percent) have been removed from the ban list after their MWPL fell below 80 percent.

Technicals
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail has surged 30.85 percent over the last month. The stock has been trading above its 20, 50 and 200 DMAs.

Hindustan Copper has rallied 39.60 percent over the last month. The stock has been trading above its 20 , 50 and 200 DMAs.
