    AUM of India-focused Nifty-tracking passive equity funds doubles to near $5 billion in size

    As per exchange data, equity assets under management (AUM) of passive funds globally tracking Nifty indices surged from $2.4 billion in December 2023 to $4.8 billion by November 2024.

    AUM of India-focused Nifty-tracking passive equity funds doubles to near $5 billion in size

    as on November 2024, as many as 115 new funds (domestic and global) were introduced during the calendar year, including 93 equity funds and 22 debt funds. Of these, 98 funds tracked Nifty indices, including 90 equity and eight debt funds.
