At 7: 31 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite shed 0.37% or 9.94 points at 2,700.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was flat at 23,096.92.

Japan's Nikkei was flat at 9,514.55.

Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.15% or 4.69 points at 3,140.21.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 0.47% or 9.91 points at 2,090.33.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was flat at 8,817.49.
