The Indian rupee opened at 44.94 per dollar versus 44.97 yesterday.

The Indian rupee opened at 44.94 per dollar versus 44.97 yesterday.

Manis Thanawala, Greenback Forex said that, "The rupee may appreciate today on the back of positive equity market cues and the dollar's weakness globally. The range for the day is seen between 44.80-45.10/$."
