The Indian rupee opened at 45.11 per dollar versus 45.01 yesterday.

Vikram Nanivadekar, Verity Analytics said that, "The rupee is likely to be under pressure on the dollar's strength globally & weak stock market cues. Investors must watch out for the impact of FII selling this month. The range for the day is seen between 45-45.30/$."
