Engineers India Limited (EIL) secured new business worth Rs 4,681 crore in the current financial year until August 31, with the company’s order book touching Rs 11,350 crore.
The EPC company’s Chairman Vartika Shukla said order book of EIL stood at Rs 7,823 crore as on March 31, 2024. Shukla added that the domestic segment emerged as the growth driver, contributing Rs 2,907 crore in the financial year 2023-24. In FY24, EIL’s order inflow reached Rs 3,406 crore.
The core oil and gas sector contributes for the majority of the orders received by the company, while orders from infrastructure and green energy segments have grown in the recent years, said Shukla.
Shukla said EIL has advanced its global footprint with the commissioning of the oil refinery project in Nigeria and the company’s entry into Algeria and Kuwait.
EIL is also foraying in the area of biofuels as it is providing services in the implementation of Assam Biorefinery Private Limited (ABPL), said Shukla. The company is also spearheading initiatives to set up Bio-ATF plants.
