Opposing Madhya Pradesh government's invitation to representatives from China for the upcoming Global Investors' Summit (GIS), an RSS-affiliate body today said that country should not given even an inch of land in the state for investment as it is "providing financial assistance to Pakistan to fan anti-India activities".

The Madhya Pradesh government will hold its flagship event on October 22 and 23.

"China has been constantly providing financial assistance to Pakistan to fan anti-India activities. Hence, we demand the state government should immediately withdraw the invites given to representatives from China for the two-day GIS," Suresh Bijolia, Indore-Ujjain convenor of Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM), said in a statement.

"We also demand from the Chief Minister that no Chinese company should be given an inch of land in the state." Bijolia said they have handed over a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister to Indore Divisional Commissioner's office regarding their demands.

On October 10 here, MP Industries Minister Rajendra Shukla had said that the goods made in China were being opposed in India. But, if the Chinese companies invest in Madhya Pradesh and start their production, the move will give fillip to the 'Make in India' campaign, he had said.

Chinese investment in Madhya Pradesh would generate employment for local residents and rev up state's revenue, he had said.
