TTK Prestige Q3 net seen up 46% on new product launches

    Kitchen appliances manufacturer TTK Prestige's third quarter profit is likely to increase 46 percent to Rs 41 crore compared to Rs 28 crore in year-ago period, according to average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

    Revenue is seen rising 13.5 percent to Rs 436 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 384 crore in same quarter last fiscal. Analysts say the company witnessed positive demand trends in kitchenware segment, adding liquidity in trade channel has improved.

    TTK has seen successful rollout of new product launches. Analysts say increase in advertising spends may support growth, adding cookers, cookware and appliances segment may grow 8 percent, 18 percent and 14 percent, respectively year-on-year.

    Operating profit (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) may jump 48 percent year-on-year to Rs 65 crore and margin may expand 350 basis points to 14.9 percent in quarter gone by.

    However, the company might see some disruption due to floods in Chennai that is 20 percent of its market.
