Blue Dart Express on Tuesday reported 3.29 percent fall in standalone net profit to Rs 41.39 crore for the September quarter, 2017-18.
The growth in second quarter reflected the underlying economic situation but last few days of September saw some pick up in volumes because of festive season and sales of ecommerce players, which contributed to revenue growth and bottomline, said Aneel Gambhir, CFO, Bluedart in an interview to CNBC-TV18.
As per reports GST was supposed to be a game changer for companies like us but it looks like companies are still struggling to get their act together, said Gambhir. However, long-term there will definitely be positive impact on logistic companies, he said.
We cater to all e-commerce players, said Gambhir.
Blue Dart Express Ltd, is an express air and integrated transportation and distribution company making deliveries to over 35,129 locations in India.
