Heritage Foods Ltd on January 22 reported a 60 percent year-on-year jump in net profit at Rs 43.05 crore for the December quarter .
In the September quarter, the company had reported a net profit of Rs 48.62 crore.
Revenue rose close to 10 percent to Rs 1,033.93 crore from the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing. The revenue stood at Rs 1,019.52 crore in the second quarter of FY25.
The company said its value-added products (VAP) segment saw a growth of 17.6 percent in revenue, hitting Rs 287.4 crore. The contribution of VAP to total revenue rose to 28.2 percent, up from 26.5 percent in Q3 FY24.
"A strong emphasis on value-added products (VAP), which have become a key driver of both revenue and high margins and continues to strengthen our market position. In parallel, our targeted marketing campaigns have played a crucial role in enhancing brand recognition and deepening consumer engagement," Heritage Foods executive director Brahmani Nara said.
The stock ended the day at Rs 453.2 on National Stock Exchange, up 2.57 percent from the previous close.
