Future Consumer Enterprise, a part of Kishore Biyani-led Future Group, on Thursday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 22.86 crore for the December quarter.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 21.45 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
The results of quarter under review are not comparable with the corresponding quarter mainly due to acquisition of Nilgiris Dairy Farm Pvt Ltd, the company said in a BSE filing.
Future Consumer Enterprise's net sales stood at Rs 512.95 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal compared with Rs 364.15 crore is the same quarter last fiscal.
Overall expenses of the company stood at Rs 543.03 crore as against Rs 391.18 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Future Consumer Enterprise shares today closed 8.12 per cent down at Rs 19.80 apiece on the BSE.
