Container Corporation Q2PAT seen up 18% to Rs 211 cr: Kotak Sec.

Net Sales are expected to increase by 10.1 percent Q-o-Q (down 1.9 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 1474.1 crore, according to Kotak Securities.

Kotak Securities has come out with its second quarter (July-September) earnings estimates for the Infrastructure sector. The brokerage house expects Container Corporation to report net profit at Rs 210.6 crore, up 18 percent quarter-on-quarter.

Net Sales are expected to increase by 10.1 percent Q-o-Q (down 1.9 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 1474.1 crore, according to Kotak Securities.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to rise by 15.1 percent Q-o-Q (down 4.7 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 301.4 crore.

Kotak Securities' report on Container CorporationWe expect 5% volume growth in EXIM and flat domestic volumes yoy. However, lower lead distance (on cargo shift to Gujarat ports) would impact realization per TEU (expect 5-6% drop yoy).

We expect segmental margin to be flat yoy and qoq for both EXIM and domestic

cargo.
