Bata India net seen up 23%; price hikes likely to spike revenue

Analysts polled by CNBC-TV18 expect revenue growth to be led by price hikes and improving realisations while festive season should aid growth on low base.

Bata India is expected to see a good third quarter with recovery from supply chain issues likely to aid. According to a CNBC-TV18 poll, net profit may grow 22.8 percent at Rs 43 crore in October-December quarter from Rs 35 crore on an annual basis. During the period, revenue is seen growing 12.7 percent at Rs 605 crore against Rs 537 crore in corresponding quarter last fiscal.

In Q3 EBITDA may be up 22 percent at Rs 75 crore versus Rs 61.5 crore while EBITDA margins may stand at 12.4 percent versus 11.5 percent (YoY).

Analysts polled by CNBC-TV18 expect revenue growth to be led by price hikes and improving realisations while festive season should aid growth on low base. Promotions and discounts may limit margin expansion but may push revenues. Same-store-sales growth may marginally pick-up on the back of festive sales.
