The building products sector had a good 2017 with stocks like Century Plyboards and Cera Sanitaryware seeing gains of 80 to 90 percent in the last one year and plenty of tailwinds continue coming in for the building products sector including Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), goods and services tax (GST) and the government's affordable housing push.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Keshav Bhajanka, ED of Century Plyboards spoke about the latest happenings in the company and the sector.

Bhajanka said that true benefits of GST will show once the e-way bill is rolled out.

He further said that there will be an adjustment period once the e-way bill is introduced.

According to him, e-way bill will be a positive for the organised players.

Talking about business, he said we will grow at 20 percent in second half of FY18 and will grow at 25 percent in FY19.

We will repay all the debt in the next few quarters, he added.
