SpiceJet announces domestic fares starting at Rs 511

Budget airline SpiceJet on May 17 announced one way base fares for domestic flights, starting as low as Rs 511 (excluding statutory taxes and fees) for a limited period to mark 11 years of the commencement of its services

Budget airline SpiceJet on May 17 announced one way base fares for domestic flights, starting as low as Rs 511 (excluding statutory taxes and fees) for a limited period to mark 11 years of the commencement of its services.

SpiceJet also rolled out fares as low as Rs 2,111 (sans statutory taxes and fees) for the flights across its international network as part of the three-day "The Anniversary Sale" offer, the bookings for which commenced from May 17.

The three-day sale launched May 17 will be open till midnight of May 19, SpiceJet said in a release.

The domestic travel period for the tickets availed under the sale offer stands between June 15 to September 30 and for international travel from June 1 to July 20, it said.

The sale is valid only for direct flights within SpiceJet's network, it added.

"We celebrate 11 years of pursuing our grand vision of fulfilling every Indian's dream of flying and the journey so far has been incredible. These special fares are our way of expressing gratitude to our valuable customers who have supported us in this turnaround," SpiceJet senior vice president, commercial, Shilpa Bhatia said.
