Automaker Renault India reported over threefold jump in sales to 12,426 units in April as against 4,001 units last year.
"The Renault KWID has received an overwhelming response in the Indian market, not only from the metros but also from smaller cities and towns," Renault India Country CEO and Managing Director Sumit Sawhney said in a statement.
On the outlook, he said: "Going forward, we are confident of maintaining the sales momentum, as we strategically working towards expanding our sales and service network in India."
