Government to review SC order on flouting environment clearance norms

In a bid to save coal & mining companies from paying hefty penalties -- the government is looking at finalising a new strategy which will protect the companies from such state penalties. This strategy will include seeking a review of Supreme Court's 2017 order that imposed penalty on flouting environmental clearance norms, reports Anshu Sharma.
