DLF's CEO Rajeev Talwar becomes vice president of PHDCCI

Talwar was unanimously elected in its recently held annual general meeting (AGM), DLF said in a statement.

    Realty major DLF's CEO Rajeev Talwar has been elected as vice president of industry body PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI).

    Talwar was unanimously elected in its recently held annual general meeting (AGM), DLF said in a statement.

    He is presently the chairman of industry body National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO).

    Rajeev Talwar has nearly four decades of experience in public service and business roles.

    "...I look forward to play a meaningful role in further strengthening PHDCCI's role as the voice of Indian industry and playing a catalytic role in the economic development of the country. We will work closely with the government on several issues and look forward to putting Indian industry and the country on the global map," Talwar said.

    Earlier, during his tenure as an IAS officer from 1978 to 2006, Talwar has held many important positions in the Centre and state governments as well as Union Territories.
