With a view to meet the growing demand from domestic as well as international intellectual community, Bharati Web Private Limited, has launched a news portal www.newsbharati.com on Saturday.

Elaborating further Bharti Web director Vishwas Pathak said the intellectual class in India and across the globe would be the readers of the portal.

A unique concept ''Watch Zone'' has also been introduced in the news portal wherein readers can discuss and debate over the burning issues of national, social and political importance, the company said in a release on Saturday.

Lakhs of service projects are being run in India by various non-governmental organisations (NGOs). These ''nation building'' projects are doing a noble work of bringing the masses from tribal belts into the mainstream of society. The dedicated volunteers from the NGOs never appear in the limelight despite painstaking efforts. ''Newsbharati'' is an effort to bring forth such invaluable contribution before the Society, he added.

The online book shop in the portal shall act as a medium to make available various books of intellectual interests and nation-building of the elite class at readers'' doorstep very soon, he added.
