Fortis Healthcare Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company has, on January 10, 2011, approved the following proposals: (1) To Change the name of the Company from "Fortis Healthcare Limited" to "Fortis Healthcare (India) Limited"; and (2) To seek shareholders' approval to the Special Resolution for changing the name of the Company, by way of Postal Ballot.
