May consider price hike in Q2 or Q3 FY14: Godrej Consumer
Godrej Consumer Products expects prices to remain stable in the near-term given the fall in prices of palm oil, a key ingredient in soaps. But the company may consider product price hikes in the second or third quarter of FY2014, A Mahendran, MD, said on Thursday.

Household insecticide prices could be hiked in the second quarter as there has been some increase in raw materials there.The company launched five products in FY2013, including cream hair colours positioned above its powders and below Garnier Colour Naturals, Aer range of home and car air freshners and relaunched Cinthol range with shower gels.Mahendran said the combined benefits of these products will be visible from FY14.
