Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "Both HDFC and HDFC Bank are ideal opportunities for long-term investors. PC Jeweller is coming out of a trading range and had a nice breakout on Friday and that should continue."

"Bharti Infratel is a buying opportunity. The stock has been rallying from Rs 300 to Rs 400 and that rally seems to continue at least for a short-term trader. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has seen a handsome rally, it has doubled itself in six months, from Rs 200 to Rs 400 and it is still going strong. It's a buy. These are all momentum buying opportunities. Take the trade, exit in a day or two. The market is at fairly elevated levels," he said.

"I have two short selling ideas - Torrent Power is making new lows and Ajanta Pharma where a small rally fizzled out, so the pharma bear market is not over. It is probably ending but not done with."

"Maruti Suzuki and HCL Technologies are giving a sense of some momentum for the day and both are buying opportunities."
