Mumbai-based educational services provider Aptech said they have entered into an pact with the government to execute online computer tests.
The multi-year memorandum of understanding has been signed with an autonomous education body under the ministry of education.
Aptech, in a notice to the capital market regulator, said that they expect revenue of over Rs 50 crore if its deal achieves milestones.
According to the agreement, Aptech will be carrying out the tests in three phases:
1) Pre-Examination Phase
2) Test Delivery Phase
3) Post-Examination Phase
The government has recently resorted to conducting various exams through computer-based testing as part of its digitisation drive. Many competitive exams like JEE, IBPS, and CAT are already conducted on computers.
