Bihar Election 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party has released its list of star campaigners for the Bihar Assembly polls. The list includes former Delhi Chief Ministers Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan among others.
According to the Election Commission’s final electoral roll, Bihar has 7.43 crore voters, including 3.5 crore women, accounting for a little over 47 percent of the electorate.
Chaudhary, who launched The Plurals Party in 2020, says she wants to introduce a form of politics that transcends caste and religion, an idea she believes Bihar urgently needs.

The list, which includes the name of Akhtarul Iman, the state president of AIMIM and its lone MLA in Bihar, was shared by the party on X.
The Lok Sabha MP further stated that removing PSA has dawned on a "truncated elected government" even though previous governments in Jammu and Kashmir extended detentions of some people.
However, amidst the ongoing seat-sharing crisis within the Mahagathbandhan, Congress leader Pawan Khera on Saturday said that everything has been finalised and an announcement will be made at the right time. "
While the NDA has already finalised its seat-sharing arrangement, the opposition remains stuck in intense negotiations, even as nominations for the first phase of polling have closed.
The commission noted that electors who are working or employed in industrial or commercial establishments located outside their constituency but are registered as voters in a constituency going to polls, will also be entitled to the benefit.

The party maintains that contesting elections is key to its expansion plans and claims its solo foray in the Bihar elections would "damage the BJP and its NDA allies".
The poll panel denies the allegation of the petitioners that there was a "disproportionate exclusion of Muslims" from the final electoral roll of the state prepared after the months-long SIR exercise.
Alam, who filed his nomination papers at the Kishanganj Sub-Divisional Officer’s office, is contesting to retain his seat for a fifth term. Before the nomination, a prayer ceremony was held at his residence where biryani was served to attendees.

The party is fielding its state unit chief Rajesh Ram from Kutumba Assembly seat and CLP leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan from Kadwa.
After joining the party, Khesali Lal Yadav shared a picture with RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and announced that he will be contesting polls from Bihar’s Chapra.
Apart from the BJP and JD-U, Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party-Ram Vilas (LJP-RV) will contest 29 seats, while Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) will each contest six seats.
The last day of filing nominations for the first phase of the assembly polls in Bihar is October 17.
The RJD has fielded Osama Shahab, son of late RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin, from the Raghunathpur Assembly constituency in Siwan district.
The first list, which was released on Wednesday, disclosed the names of 57 candidates, whereas the second list had 44 names. The second list included several ministers like Sheila Mandal, Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Leshi Singh, Jayant Raj and Mohd Zama Khan featuring among the nominees.
