UFM Industries Ltd Incorporated as a private limited company in Jun.`86 to take over Union Flour Mills and carry out the business of wheat flour. Union Flour Mills was a partnership firm which started commercial production in 1965 with an installed capacity of 30,000 tpa. Subsequently, under an expansion programme, another unit was set up with an installed capacity of 42,000 tpa within the same complex at Meherpur, Assam
