For coffee lovers, this is good news! A US-based cardiologist highly recommended the beverage in his new post on Instagram, sharing the list of health benefits it offers. However, he also cautioned that the timing of your coffee and how you make it matter as much, determining its impact on your body.
If you struggle with how much coffee you should consume and when, Dr Jack Wolfson said, “As a cardiologist, I drink four cups of coffee per day. I drink it before noon, because that’s when I enjoy it. And fortunately, that’s what the data says leads to the best longevity.”

The cardiologist, with over 20 years of experience, mentioned some of the health benefits of coffee, adding, “Coffee drinkers have less heart attacks, less strokes, less brain disease, less cancer. So drinking coffee is heart healthy, especially when you drink the good stuff, which is glyphosate-free, mould and mycotoxin-free.”
To ensure you enjoy the good stuff, Dr Wolfson suggested you take care of the nitty-gritty. “You want to drink it out of a metal or ceramic mug. You don’t want to use a plastic coffee maker. You want to use the pour-over method, and you want high-quality water.”

For people who add milk and sugar, the cardiologist shared better alternatives that avoid harm. He strictly advised not to add any “garbage or junk” to your beverage. Instead, he said, “If you want to add something to it, raw cream is good. Some people like raw honey. I like it black and that’s what the data says.”
Dr Wolfson added, “Over 30-year studies have been done. It’s the most studied beverage ever. So drink coffee happily, four cups before noon, that’s what this cardiologist recommends.”
