Pistachio Chocolate Date Bites

Who doesn’t love a recipe that’s got  just 4 ingredients, doesn’t involve any baking and only takes 5 minutes to make! This one is both healthy and delicious, bound to please your senses and satiate your cravings.

Ingredients

6 large medjool dates, pitted

6 tbsp peanut butter

50 gm dark chocolate, melted

Handful of chopped pistachios

Method

Place pitted dates on a sheet of baking paper

Gently press each date flat using the base of a glass or cup (place another sheet of baking paper on top to stop it from sticking)

Add a spoonful of pistachio butter, some melted chocolate and chopped pistachios

Refrigerate or freeze until set

Chocolate Peanut Butter Date Bars

This one looks so delicious that you’d certainly want to give it a shot. All it requires is 6 ingredients and just 5 minutes of your time. For those who love dates, peanut butter, seeds, and nuts, this is a must-have!

Ingredients

200 gm chocolate, melted

4 Medjool dates

2 tbsp peanut butter

Handful of pumpkin seeds, pecans and pistachios

Method

Pour half of the melted chocolate in a lined loaf tin and smooth it out evenly.

Slice your dates in half, and remove the pit

Arrange the dates over the chocolate layer

Spread peanut butter on top

Sprinkle on your nuts and seeds evenly

Pour over the remaining melted chocolate to cover everything

Finish with pistachios and freeze until set

Sticky Chewy Date Banana Bread

For those who love bananas, peanut butter and dates, this combo in a no flour bread is pure bliss! It is easy to make and requires just 5 ingredients.

Ingredients

3 very ripe bananas

1 cup smooth drippy peanut butter

2 eggs

1 tsp baking powder

10 dates, chopped

Handful of pecans and chocolate chips (optional)

Method

Preheat oven to 180c

In a bowl mix together all the ingredients

Pour into a prepared loaf tin

Top with more chocolate chips and pecans (optional)

Bake for 30-35 minutes
