War 2 post-credit scene to feature Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, big tease for Dhoom 4 in the works

The buzz around War 2 just levelled up. Already touted as one of the most anticipated action films of the year, the Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR starrer is now confirmed to be the longest movie in the YRF Spy Universe with a runtime of 2 hours and 53 minutes — and that’s excluding the post-credit scene.

Certified U/A by CBFC, the main film runs 173 minutes, while the secretive end-credit sequence is being certified separately, hinting at how crucial this bonus scene might be.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is set for an August 14 release, banking on the Independence Day weekend to draw massive crowds.

Hrithik reprises his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, while Jr. NTR’s character is still shrouded in mystery. Kiara Advani joins the spyverse in a high-octane action role, playing Kavya Luthra, who many speculate is the daughter of Colonel Luthra (played by Ashutosh Rana).

The post-credit sequence, much like Pathaan and Tiger 3, is designed to expand the cinematic universe.

If inside reports are true, this sequence won’t just be a tease , it’ll be a full-fledged setup for the future of YRF’s spyverse. The cameo list reportedly includes Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Sharvari, with the latter two being positioned as leads in the upcoming film Alpha.

This move suggests that YRF is grooming a new generation of operatives, and War 2 will be the handoff point.

There’s also speculation that War 2 might drop hints about the Dhoom franchise’s return, potentially tying it into the spyverse.

Nothing’s confirmed yet, but YRF seems intent on weaving all its major properties into one interconnected universe — Bollywood’s answer to the MCU.
