Telugu actor Varun Tej and his wife Lavanya Tripathi have welcomed a baby boy. Veteran actor and Varun Tej’s uncle Chiranjeevi shared the first picture of the newborn.
In the picture, Chiranjeevi is cradling the new born baby in his arms while proud dad Varun looks on.
While sharing the picture, Chiranjeevi wrote: “Welcome to the world, little one! A hearty welcome to the newborn baby boy in the Konidela family. Heartfelt congratulations to Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi on becoming proud parents. So happy for Nagababu and Padmaja, who are now promoted to proud grandparents. Wishing the baby boy all the happiness, good health, and blessings in abundance. May your love and blessings always surround our child.”
Varun Teja also shared a loving photo with his wife Lavanya and their son. He is seen kissing his wife on her forehead as he shared the news of the birth of their son. Varun wrote in the caption, "Our little man 10.09.2025."
Varun Tej had earlier shared a short video clip in which he can be seen restlessly walking and waiting, subtly hinting at waiting eagerly to see his little bundle of joy.
The caption read, "The wait is quiet, but my heart isn’t!"
Upasana Konnidela, Ram Charan's wife and Varun Tej's sister-in-law also commented on the post as she congratulated the couple. She wrote, "Congratulations sooooo happpy."
Varun and Lavanya tied the knot in 2023 with a lavish destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy. The couple shared the happy news with fans in May this year through a heartwarming Instagram post.
They shared the news by posting a picture of themselves holding hands beside a knitted pair of baby socks. The caption read, "Life’s most beautiful role yet -Coming soon."
Taking to their Instagram handle, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi shared a photo in which both are seen posing in front of Lord Ganesha and posing with folded hands. Lavanya’s baby bump was clearly visible, and in no time, it went viral and fans were also reacting. “Wishing you and your family a blessed. Vinayaka Chavithi filled with love, happiness, and harmony."
On the work front, Varun Tej was last seen in the Telugu film Matka, which is based on the story of Vasu, who rose from poverty and went on to create a very powerful gambling empire in the country. It was released in November 2024.
As of now, the actor has not shared any major updates regarding his future projects.
