Varun Dhawan's niece Anjini Dhawan to join Salman Khan in Sikandar: Report

Anjini Dhawan, the niece of Varun Dhawan, recently made her Bollywood debut in Binny and Family. According to reports, the promising young actor has secured a role in Salman Khan's upcoming film Sikandar.

As reported by Mid-Day, Anjini Dhawan has been cast in a significant role in Salman Khan's Sikandar following her debut. While her character details are still under wraps, her role is expected to be crucial to the film's storyline.

Anjini Dhawan is the daughter of Siddharth Dhawan and Reena Dhawan. Siddharth is Varun's cousin, making Anjini the granddaughter of veteran actor Anil Dhawan.

Anjini made her Bollywood debut in Binny and Family, a dramedy that explores the generational gaps within families. The film includes seasoned actors such as Pankaj Kapur and Himani Shivpuri, giving Anjini the opportunity to demonstrate her talent alongside industry veterans. It delves into themes of family dynamics, emotional conflicts, and humor.

While the film didn't achieve significant box office success, it was definitely a great start for her to build her career as an actor.

Meanwhile, in Sikandar, Salman Khan and director AR Murugadoss are collaborating to create an action entertainer featuring a star-studded cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, and Kajal Aggarwal. Sharman Joshi is also a significant addition to the cast, bringing a unique dynamic to his interactions with Salman in the film.

The filming began in June in Mumbai. This project also marks Salman Khan's first collaboration with director A.R. Murugadoss, renowned for his action-driven narratives.

The film is scheduled to be released during Eid 2025. The soundtrack for Sikandar is being composed by Pritam, who plans to offer a blend of dance tracks, romantic melodies, and emotional tunes that will resonate with audiences.
