The popular Indian sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and its production house, Neela Film Productions, have issued an official statement confirming that they have amicably resolved all issues with actress Palak Sidhwani, who had earlier exited the show.
Palak had previously claimed that the makers were attempting to make her exit difficult by threatening legal action for breach of contract. However, the production house has now clarified that everything between both parties has been settled.
The official statement that read, "Neela Film Productions would like to share that all matters between the company and Palak Sindhwani have been amicably resolved. We wish her good luck. Neela Film Productions has introduced and nurtured many artistes and creative talents helping shape their successful careers in the entertainment industry. Over the years, the show’s characters have become household names, loved by audiences across the country."
It further mentioned, "As a progressive and forward-looking production house, Neela Film Productions remains committed to nurturing talent and delivering meaningful, family-friendly entertainment. We also believe in fostering a fair, transparent, and supportive work environment, ensuring that every artiste and team member feels respected and valued."
On the final day of shooting last year, Palak shared a series of pictures from the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah sets, which included Mandar Chandwadkar, Dilip Joshi, and other actors. The post also included solo shots of Palak dressed as her character Sonu.
In a lengthy caption, she reflected on her journey on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and thanked viewers for the love and support they showered on her during the five years she was associated with the show.
