Bhavya Gandhi, well-known as Tappu from the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has responded to recent speculation connecting him to co-star Munmun Dutta.
The actor explained the rumours about the engagement and shared the misunderstanding it created in the household.
Dismissively responding to the rumours, Bhavya stated, "There has been a lot of talk about the engagement rumours. It was rumoured that the engagement took place in Vadodara.
Suddenly, a person contacted my mother, saying, 'Your son is getting engaged, and you haven't mentioned anything.' She responded, "Don't you get what you're saying?" Are you crazy? My mother became extremely angry. "However, those were merely arbitrary subjects."
Bhavya also mentioned, "My mother was angry. That is not true. Individuals simply share the message. It contained nothing."
Bhavya Gandhi became part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2008 and rapidly gained fame for portraying Tappu. His sincerity and talent in acting captured the affection of viewers throughout India. He stayed with the programme for almost seven years before saying goodbye in 2017. His exit left fans disheartened, as Tappu was seen as the heart and soul of Gokuldham Society.
Following Bhavya's departure, the role of Tappu was initially taken on by Raj Anadkat and is currently represented by Nitesh Bhulani. After departing from TMKOC, Bhavya has ventured into Gujarati cinema and received acclaim for his roles in regional films. Even though he hasn't appeared in Bollywood yet, fans have been anxiously anticipating his comeback to the show.
In a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Bhavya expressed affection for his experience on TMKOC. Concerning Disha Vakani, who portrayed Daya Ben, he remarked that she was "hilarious and brought laughter to everyone."
Bhavya Gandhi remains a well-liked personality among TMKOC enthusiasts, and his performances in regional cinema keep viewers interested.
