Adarsh Gourav will soon star in new film

Superboys of Malegaon actor Adarsh Gourav, known for his powerful performances in various Hollywood and Bollywood films, is now all set to make his mark in Tollywood.

He will make his Telugu debut with a psychological horror film. The actor has recently reflected on his exciting new chapter.

Adarsh shared, "I've always believed that great stories transcend language, and as an actor, my biggest thrill is to explore diverse narratives across industries. The South film industry has consistently delivered some of the most compelling and innovative films, and I’m excited to finally be a part of it.”

The actor talked about the upcoming film and admitted that he has never done a psychological horror. He said, “This project, in particular, is unlike anything I’ve never done Psychological horror genre and it has a gripping story that immediately drew me in.”

Adarsh further noted, “Collaborating with a visionary team and making my Telugu debut with Jahnavi's production is truly special. I can't wait for audiences to see what we’re creating."

Jahnavi, daughter of esteemed producer D.V.V. Danayya, who backed the worldwide phenomenon RRR, will spearhead the new project directed by Baba Shashank. The film is slated to release in 2025.

Adarsh made his acting debut in 2010 with Shah Rukh Khan starrer film My Name Is Khan. The actor then received international recognition for his role as chauffeur Balram Halwai in The White Tiger. He also won a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

The actor’s latest work includes Superboys of Malegaon. Directed by Reema Kagti and written by Varun Grover, the film is inspired by the 2008 documentary Supermen of Malegaon. It is based on the life of Nasir Shaikh and other amateur filmmakers in the small town of Malegaon. The film also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, and Anuj Singh Duhan.
