Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav to star in new project

BAFTA nominee Adarsh Gourav and newcomer Shanaya Kapoor will come together for an upcoming film, Tu Yaa Main. The makers recently announced the project and promise to captivate viewers with the exciting blend of love, primal terror, and survival.

Filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar recently reflected on the upcoming project, saying, “With Tu Yaa Main, we’re pushing the boundaries of romance and survival in a way that’s both emotionally charged and intensely terrifying.”

He added, “Adarsh and Shanaya's chemistry and their contrasting energies are what will make Tu Yaa Main a wild ride. It’s a unique canvas that allows us to explore complex characters against the backdrop of an unforgiving wilderness.”

Meanwhile, director Aanand L Rai shared, "At Colour Yellow, we are constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to storytelling. Tu Yaa Main is a film that thrives on unpredictability—pairing two incredibly exciting artists in a story that refuses to play by the rules.”

He further noted, “We wanted actors who could not only embody their characters’ emotional complexity but also bring a natural intensity to their performances. Adarsh and Shanaya are perfect for these roles because of what they represent both on-screen and off."

Tu Yaa Main is set to release on Valentine’s Day 2026. This film is said to be a thrilling date-night movie that combines romance, excitement, and survival.

The production house behind innovative films like Tumbbad, Newton, and Raanjhanaa, Colour Yellow, has produced the upcoming film. The production house has also collaborated with Aanand L Rai for Tere Ishk Mein, which is slated for a November 2025 release.

The project also marked the first collaboration between acclaimed directors Aanand and Bejoi, known for their unconventional storytelling. The film is produced by Himanshu Sharma and written by Abhishek Bandekar. It explores the contrast between two people from different social classes, highlighting their conflicting views on life.
