Sudhir Mishra boards Shekhar Kapur’s Masoom 2 as executive producer

In what looks to be a potent cinematic partnership, veteran filmmaker Sudhir Mishra has officially joined the cast of Masoom 2 as Executive Producer.

The news has generated a lot of excitement among moviegoers, especially since Masoom 2 is a return to the poignant world of Shekhar Kapur's 1983 masterpiece Masoom, which established a standard for sentimental, sensitive storytelling in Indian cinema.

Instead of being a traditional sequel, Masoom – The Next Chapter is referred to as a spiritual successor.
