Actor Sidharth Malhotra recently took to social media and responded to a troubling incident involving a fan page associated with him. A fan publicly claimed they were defrauded of ₹50 lakh by the administrators of one of his fan pages.
A US-based fan, Minoo Vasudeva (@desi_girl334 on social media platform X), shared her ordeal on the social media platform and publicly claimed that she was deceived by two individuals managing a fan page associated with the actor. Minoo alleged that Aliza and Husna Parveen, administrators of the fan page, defrauded her of ₹50 lakh.
However, the Shershah actor took note of the incident and responded on Instagram.
He wrote, "It has been brought to my attention that certain fraudulent activities/scams have been circulating on various social media platforms, allegedly claiming to be associated with or in relation to me, my family and people claiming to be my fans and seeking money."
He further added, "I want to assure everyone reading this that neither I nor my family or team support any of this. I urge all of you to exercise caution when dealing with such matters. If you receive any suspicious requests, report them to the appropriate authorities and avoid spreading false information. My fans have always been my biggest strength and your trust and safety are my top priorities. Big Love and Hug!"
Minoo Vasudeva further alleged that the fan page administrators fabricated stories about Sidharth Malhotra's life being in danger due to his wife, Kiara Advani. These fabrications reportedly included claims of Kiara forcing Malhotra into marriage through threats to his family and even practising black magic on him.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani got married in a grand wedding in Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Hotel on February 7 2023 followed by a reception in Mumbai later.
