Arshad Warsi's controversial comment about Prabhas' appearance in 'Kalki 2898 AD' has sparked outrage among South Indian stars. Following superstar Nani's criticism, Telugu actor and writer Siddhu Jonnalagadda has also expressed his disappointment and disapproval of Warsi's remark.
Jonnalagadda emphasized that Prabhas is one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. He took to Instagram and expressed his disappointment, "Everybody has a right to opinion. We all like/hate films and actors according to our whims and fancies and that is alright. But, how you express that opinion matters, big time. Especially when you are a member of the same community and know how hard it is to find a footing here and then to sustain it. We are all game for some constructive criticism but terms like "Joker" don't exactly scream the same."
He further praised Prabhas' work in the blockbuster hit film Kalki 2898 AD and commented on his fan following. "Well, it's no joke that #Kalki is the pride of Indian cinema and Mr. Nag Ashwin has made something class apart. Certainly not funny that he made a film that collected over 1000 cr. Prabhas anna is one of the biggest stars of Indian cinema and there is a reason behind it. It's called "The X factor". His stardom is beyond successes because his failures make more money than we can fathom. He is one of the strong pillars behind #Kalki success. These are just facts even if I'm fanboying here."

The Krishna and His Leela actor concluded the Instagram story with,
"Here at the Telugu cinema, we respect anyone's right to opinion provided the mode of delivery is mindful. Let's have some mutual respect here please."
For those unversed, Golmaal actor Arshad Warsi has recently said in a podcast's episode that he didn't like Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD. In Samdish Bhatia's podcast, Arshad expressed his disappointment over Prabhas' character in the sci-fi mythological film and said that "he was like a joker."
His comment not only agitated actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda but others as well including actor Nani. During the promotion of his latest film Surya’s Saturday, when asked about Arshad Warsi's statement about Prabhas, Nani replied that he was unnecessarily exaggerating the issue and that he might be just seeking publicity.
